Headingley St Columba is a welcoming and caring congregation, located close to the centre of Headingley, in Leeds, West Yorkshire. We have a strong focus on worship, enriched by organ and choir music, and a long history of support for the University Chaplaincies, which we continually hold in prayer.
We proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ in the witness of our lives, in our faith stories and as we walk the way as his disciples. We seek to deepen our faith and to encourage others to walk alongside us, meeting for worship, fellowship, prayer and Bible Study. We are open to all ages, with a small Junior Church, and a desire to reach out to the community around us, supporting several local charities.
Our Church building has a modern look, with a number of good size spaces and smaller meeting rooms, which we hire out during the week and which give us plenty of space for Church use.
We value being part of Churches Together in Headingley, and belong to the Leeds Partnership of United Reformed Churches, a sharing of resources and ministry to serve all who live in Leeds.
